Rosie's Dress

from unique vintage, not the right colour.

also unique vintage, cute but I think it only comes in black.

From whirling turban, would be nice in a different fabric and can be made with cap sleeves (my favorite)
Also some links to some Coast dresses, which are gorgeous but also only in black.

I'm still looking...

Bridesmaids (sisters)

I think the green one in the middle would be super sexy on my sister rosie, the blue lacy one on my sister Fern (but with less pouf under the skirt) and the other on sister in-law Katie.

I bought the dress today!!

Sorry sisters I can't post a pic here because future husband reads this blog! But I can tell you it is ivory silk and falls to just below the knee. And it looks GREAT with the vintage floral shoes I bought from etsy!!

A bridey thing to wear on my head during the reception.

This girl likes wearing toggles on her head. I like her headband because it sort of looks like a dahlia. See her on etsy http://www.etsy.com/shop/jenniferloiselle

Wedding Quilts Inspiration

I was cruising flickr looking for quilt inspiration and I came across this beautiful blog, the cool thing is that she is Australian! :-)
Red Pepper Quilts. Check out her blog, her work is so beautiful! If my sister Rosie keeps collecting fabric and sewing this is the type of thing I imagine her making in that sunny sewing room of hers.
She sells on etsy too: http://www.etsy.com/shop/knitknat
