This bride has my wedding outfit!

The cute 1950's dress with the yellow shoes!
She even changes into a pair of yellow converse all stars to party in comfort.

Even Miri knows how much this bride loves bows!

Bride Danielle inspired me with her yellow kimono bow backed bridal gown, but yellow bow inspiration is endless!

Love this hair-bow with feathers by ban.do

Fairytales.

Nico's parents have done so much work to help realise my dream of a castle wedding. I am so lucky not only to have the perfect groom but also the perfect in-laws!

This is not a fairytale castle, it is the Districtshuis in Borgerhout where we have to have our civil ceremony marriage. Looks like a castle on the outside, I just hope it isn't a dismal BBB office inside.

Now this (below) is the Kasteel van Brasschaet, truely a brides paradise! I can't find any photos to do it justice. I visited it on wednesday with Jeanine (Nico's mum). It is so beautiful that Jeanine said if I don't get married there she will, wheteher it's with Paul or someone else! I'm going back on saturday with Nico and his dad Paul. Trying not to get too excited! ( notice I limited the use of exclaimation marks to three!!!)

Photographer is first thing booked!

Nico has our photographer booked and we don't even have a date set!

                                                 http://users.telenet.be/mollenvanger/
Jens Mollenvanger not only has an awesome name (Mollenvanger means Mole Hunter and it's one of my Belgian dreams to see a mole) but he is an awesome young photographer. He has a great eye for all things quirky and while looking at his flickr page I laughed out loud more than once. I hope it's like that with our wedding pictures!

Love is in the detail.

This wedding is here: http://www.stylemepretty.com/2009/10/05/diy-wedding-from-jessamyn-harris-photography-iii/ on stylemepretty, one of my favorite wedding blogs. It is called a DIY wedding so I guess the bride made the oh so cute button and bird boutonnieres. I love the family wedding photos in glass jars. Did I say cute yet? Cute, cute, cute!

Yellow Fever!

I'm obsessed about 1950's dresses. This yellow number on etsy has taken my fancy

Nico says I can wear whatever colour dress I like, but I'm wondering is a yellow diamond AND a yellow dress going a bit over board? It would look lovely next to a groom in a light grey suit.
Including shipping it'll be €89.35.
The pictures are not very good so I'm not sure of the condition. And does lemon yellow even suit me? I have baked two lemon meringue pies this week...maybe that's a sign!
