Nico's parents have done so much work to help realise my dream of a castle wedding. I am so lucky not only to have the perfect groom but also the perfect in-laws!
This is not a fairytale castle, it is the Districtshuis in Borgerhout where we have to have our civil ceremony marriage. Looks like a castle on the outside, I just hope it isn't a dismal BBB office inside.
Now this (below) is the Kasteel van Brasschaet, truely a brides paradise! I can't find any photos to do it justice. I visited it on wednesday with Jeanine (Nico's mum). It is so beautiful that Jeanine said if I don't get married there she will, wheteher it's with Paul or someone else! I'm going back on saturday with Nico and his dad Paul. Trying not to get too excited! ( notice I limited the use of exclaimation marks to three!!!)
Nico has our photographer booked and we don't even have a date set!

Jens Mollenvanger not only has an awesome name (Mollenvanger means Mole Hunter and it's one of my Belgian dreams to see a mole) but he is an awesome young photographer. He has a great eye for all things quirky and while looking at his flickr page I laughed out loud more than once. I hope it's like that with our wedding pictures!
I'm obsessed about 1950's dresses. This yellow number on etsy has taken my fancy
Nico says I can wear whatever colour dress I like, but I'm wondering is a yellow diamond AND a yellow dress going a bit over board? It would look lovely next to a groom in a light grey suit.
Including shipping it'll be €89.35.
The pictures are not very good so I'm not sure of the condition. And does lemon yellow even suit me? I have baked two lemon meringue pies this week...maybe that's a sign!
